Jude Thomas - about the author

Jude was born and raised in the southern city of Dunedin, where much of The Gold Series takes place. Growing up, she was fascinated by tales-of-old as told by her relatives. But it wasn't until a 2014 family reunion that more intriguing stories came out of the closet.
She had always been a short story writer, but now Jude was persuaded to write her first full-length novel about New Zealand pioneers - some shady, some ambitious, and most with great spirit. It's not surprising then, that a few of the characters bear an uncanny resemblance to her ancestors! Will there be more to The Gold Series?
