Tour the delights of Central Otago

Is it any wonder that I'm is still in love with the province where I grew up? These images are from my last foray around the province during summer, February 2025.
Central Otago is the southern-most wine region in the world, and is particularly famous for its Pinot Noir variety, which loves hot, dry summers and crisp, fruit-setting winters.
Many vineyards and orchards grow totally organic and hand-developed produce. Big skies, parched hills, verdant grapevines, laden apricot and cherry trees fill the summer landscape.
Around the province, reminders of 'the olden days' are still evident: gold diggings, wayside taverns and settlers cottages, such as this heritage home near Roxburgh.
